Domperidone Maleate

Short Description

VOMIPER is used to treat symptoms of slowed stomach emptying and stomach inflammation. Domperidone is also used to prevent symptoms such as nausea and vomiting caused by some drugs used to treat Parkinson's disease. This safety information is for patients taking domperidone for any condition.

Indications

Oral

Nausea and vomiting

Adult: 10 mg tid. Max: 30 mg daily. Child: ≤12 yr <35 kg: 250 mcg/kg up to tid. Max: 750 mcg/kg daily; >12 yr ≥35 kg: Same as adult dose.

Gastrointestinal motility disorders

Adult: 10 mg tid. Max: 30 mg daily.

  • Each film-coated tablet contains : Domperidone maleate equivalent to Domperidone 10 mg

  • Box, 3 blisters @ 10 film coated tablets

Vomiper Suspension 5mg/5ml

  • Each 5 ml contains: Domperidone maleate equivalent to Domperidone 5 mg

  • Box, 1 Bottle @ 60 ml
